If I've said it once, I've said it a hundred times... I love my brother. I don't usually go to anyone for advice... more to vent because I usually already know what I need to do anyway... but Jeff is the absolute WORST when it comes to giving advice you don't need. It's so bad that you can't help but smile.... even when you're crying. Suffice to say that while I have been searching for something the past few weeks, something that will give me some kind of stable ground to stand on, something that will give me something to shoot for other than just making it through the day, Jeff was the most unlikely source to provide me with just that. Eight hours of aimlessly hanging out and two simple words gave me more comfort than I could have hoped for.
My phone rings at 7:30am while I'm loading cupcakes and kids into the car for school. It's Jeff. I tell him that I was juuuust about to call him. "What the hell are you thinking, why were you gonna call me at 7:30 in the morning?" he says. Reason number one million and thirty five why I love my brother. So he tells me that he doesn't want to hear my crap, we're definately hanging out today. Good enough. That's actually why I was going to call him anyway. So after two kids and twenty cupcakes were in the safe hands of the Sumter County School System, my day with three of my favorite Richardson boys began. I love watching Jeff interact with his boys. Wyatt has the cutest "Aunt Tham" that I've ever heard. Logan gave me seventy dollars in the form of a one dollar bill. We burned through an entire tank of gas, spilled a full cup of tea all over the walmart floor, misplaced two sippy cups and a set of keys, used a completely random park bathroom, spoke on life, love and gangster rap.... and it was the best day I've had in as long as I can remember. I cried tears of therapy and laughed straight from my heart.
I absolutely love my brother... and yes Jeff, I will most certainly "tighten up".
